Got out for the first time on open water this year. Fished till dark with only a 3 lb. catfish to bite. It was windy, cold and the water temp. was 38. Will wait till weather straightens out to get out again.

I’m shooting for Easter Saturday to give it a try for the first time. Water temps will probably still be cold, but maybe something will be hungry.
