Hey just wondering how the bite is around 9 mile island/meridean/straw hill area.

I’d have to say I really don’t know personally. I did hear that some people were catching some nice perch in the slack water areas and some of he sloughs….some nice ones too. That’s all I’ve heard too? Now that I don’t live in Durand anymore and have a bigger boat I haven’t been able to get out and get any reports in yet…I’m gonna try this week though.

April 18, 2006 at 4:52 pm #439186Don’t forget about all those rock bass. They were really biting. Thanks for the outing Don. We will have to give it a try again. I think that the eye’s should really be biting good soon. I talked to a friend that was fishing the Wisconsin and they did great. The jig bite was not happening but they caught limits trolling. This might be the time to try some trolling on the Chip.
