Where to go?

I am looking for a good place to shore fish on Chippewa river around the Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls area. I want to take my Dad and Son out. Any Advice would be appreciated.

Fish current breaks and deep holes

Welcome to ido! Current seams and structure should hold fish. Any certain species you want to target?

Below the dam in Eau Claire, close to the city garages, on the east shore is one spot you could try.
I always see quite a few people fishing the confluence of the Eau Claire River and Chip at Phoenix Park, you could try there.
Another decent spot would be right below Altoona dam.
Not sure what type of fish you’re targeting but, you’ll get a plethora of species in any of these spots… Welcome to IDO!
