Sunday morning my father and I went up to Lake Pepin hoping to catch a few walleye, we trolled most of the wisconson side (across from Hoksila) without a bite. so we decided to go fish some docks for bass in the marinia. after 5 minutes of fishing i landed a 38 inch pike on a brown jig and a chartruse trailer , shortly after that i lost another pike at the boat. after 30 minutes without a bite i decided to throw a fire tiger crankbait, on the 3rd cast i had another monster follow it to the boat , i made another cast and he hit it at the boat and popped off, i made 1 more cast and he nailed it! this one measured at 35 inches.Thats when things shut off,we fished the docks for another hour with only a 25 incher to show, so thats when we called it quits and left. overall a good day!

Nice toothies. I’ll take size over numbers most days. This time of year the big pike like cool water if you can find it.
