    Anyone know if any place around the Metro had frozen shad in stock for sale. Or a place to buy some on line?

    Vado’s no longer carries shad. Found out last night hence the post. Moore’s is out.

    I heard that shad as bait is hard to get anymore since cast net use was outlawed in MN.

    Did Bob even get shad last summer? As I remember I was not able to get any.

    Does anyone know where to seine shad? Nothing too specific, but what rivers, etc. How far north do they exist?

    Not that I know of. I called and stopped in a lot. I think it was hard to get them the last couple of years due to the warm weather so late in the year.
