    Thats a nice flathead Stuart and out of the Raccoon, some wouldn’t believe it but I’m sure its true. For the guys around the twin cities the Raccoon is smaller then Elk river. Theres some nice flatheads in the smaller rivers and creeks around here. This one looks atleast 45 too 50 and maybe pushing more.

    No measurements were taken.This was sent to me by my great nephew,it’s of his friend that was fishing with him.He is about 5ft 10inches.
    They claim to get a bunch of monster cats out of their little stretch of the river.I give them the old line,it’s only a story with out a picture.So they sent me a photo of the bait they use.Smart ‘s

    Speaking of big cats from smaller rivers… I heard this weekend of someone catching a ~50# flat out of the Redwood River in SW MN as part of the catfish derby.

    Also how did you catch it rod & Reel, bank pole? I’m still waiting on my big one 36.6 is my largest & that one looks a lot bigger!! Congrats!!
