Big Cat Safari

A few days ago I decided to review the In-Fisherman video “Big Cat Safari” to see some big flatheads, so it gets to the Mississippi river segment with Doug Stange and Steve Hoffman and guess who’s in the boat guiding them? Chris Winchester (aka catdadmn). I almost fell out of my chair! So what was it like Chris? How did it feel to catch that big flathead on camera and did you catch any more fish later on? I wish they had shown more footage from that segment. What a cool gig.

So that is the spot huh? I didn’t want to press you on that, but I kind of figured it was somewhere in that area from the clues you gave me. Thanks so much for all the advice you’ve shared on this board. I’m going to that famous spot tomorrow night with the hopes of reinacting the scene from the video. (Of course I always practice catch and release too.) – carp chaser
