Seems like it would just be so much easier at the landing. Park the boat for an hour and replace the carpet in the lot.
^Definitely the easiest option if you have open landings nearby on a weeknight.
We’ve used the lull and x3 hoist straps before to adjust a trailer on the weekend when I knew the ramp would be busy. The same processed worked to lift the tritoon and swap out 2×4 bunk boards for 2x6s after we got it during the Winter.
