Can anyone identify this part for auger Carrier?

    Does anyone have any idea what is attached to this digger auger Carrier? I circled in red what I am wondering about. This is just a screenshot I took from online. Looks like it wraps around the grab bar? If anyone has any other ideas it would be appreciated. Trying to mount a digger to the grab bar on my sled in second and third photo. Hoping to do something with easy removal.

    That appears to be an accessory front hitch for the bearcat. That is not part of the digger auger carrier itself.

    The digger carrier has a flat plate that should clamp around that horizontal tube on your front bumper just fine. I am a bit worried about the center support piece, that may interfere.

    The only way to make a quick attach/detach for your sled would be to modify that bumper to have a receiver style hitch on it. A buddy of mine did that with his bearcat.

    I didn’t have any luck finding any accessories from Artic Cat. Could you explain anymore about what your buddy did with his?

    Hi Duluth,

    Polaris sells a HD Front bumper with a receiver for a hitch or hitch accessories but I don’t know if it would fit your sled. I am sure there are options out there if you want to go that route.

    I have a bumper similar to yours and what I had to do was add a piece of 1/4″ aluminum rectangular tubing underneath the front of the digger auger carrier so that it would sit level on top of the bumper then I secured it with 2 u-bolts to clamp it down. It is not a quick release system but it is solid.

    He bought this front bumper with the receiver hitch built in. Then used a 2″ receiver he had laying around and welded the digger mount to it.

    If you are handy with a welder or know someone who is, you can buy accessory receiver hitches similar to that and fab up a mount to your bumper that works for you.

    Thanks for that link! If that bumper by chance mounts to my Polaris I will go that route or look into welding. Appreciate it!
