Anyone got one of those fancy spend $x get $x off coupons for Cabelas?
Looking at a Helix 9….

save your $$ and go for the Helix 10, much better unit than the 9…The transducer update alone brings the units to within $400 of each other…

Where can I read or investigate the updates?

there’s a link on Humminbird’s website, but basically you take the Compact SI ducer out of the Helix 9 box and mail it to Humminbird + $90+ and they mail you back the HDSI transducer that the Helix 10 already comes with. It’s a big improvement as it has larger SI crystals, so better images on your screen.

Do a google search for “helix 9 vs 10”. Lots of information out there.

I’ve returned stuff. Got credit and then purchase again and get the discount. Also if it is within a few days call customer service and usually they will credit your card so you get the discount.

What am I missing, still looks like I can upgrade for $90. I actually don’t think I will have room for the Helix 10… (don’t tell my wife)
