    Was on brushy sat. and sun. Water is very stained. Ice is 6″+ . The main body is not safe I”m sure …it was open a week ago but the north ramp and the island area has good ice. Fish are some what slow with sat. producing 1 small walleye and sun. giving me 2 perch and 2 gills..all small.
    Well there is always next weekend

    Thanks for the report on the ice. I live to far away to drive all the way down there to find bad ice.

    keep the ice reports coming for brushy. I would like to hit it this weekend if there’s still ice. doesn’t look good, though.

    Here is the # for the bait shop in Duncomb wich is just a few miles north of the lake. 515-543-8269 They probably won’t know a whole lot about the fishing there, because everybody kind of keeps quiet about where there catching fish, but they should be able to give you an ice report.
