Brainard, Atkin area in October

Thinking about a fishing trip the first or second week in October. What to expect for water temps? What to expect for “fall bite”? Any and all opinions welcome. I usually make an earlier in the season trip, so I’m not sure what to expect for the October time frame. Looking for any species, not too particular. Thanks
