Still have my Teva sandals from a 1994 rafting trip through Cataract Canyon on the Colorado River. Also bout a pair of the Teve Omnium Drift closed toe shoes, they are great for hiking where your feet get wet.

Crocs can also be used to help with Planter Flacitis. You can carve out a spot on the bottom of the sole, under the heel half the thickness of the sole. That creates a shock absorbing pad under the hot spot.
Must be a heal strap so that puts you into the Keen, Teva, Chaco realm. Had Tevas and converted to Chacos years go. Never looked back. If Chacos fit your feet you won’t regret it. I’ve got more hiking miles on these by far than my actual hiking boots.
One thing about Chacos is the toe strap or not. I have the toe strap. Actually makes a difference for hiking but it takes a little getting used to. Friends without say it’s a little more comfortable. The big thing about not having it is a cold night and being able to wear socks around camp.
