Wondering what methods you guys find to be the best option for selling a used car? I’ve listed it on FB Marketplace, but not seeing as much activity as other items I’ve sold. Anybody use Vroom before? I live on a low traffic street so that’s not much of an option. Any ‘for sale by owner lots’ in the NW metro you can park it at for a small fee?
I’ve sold 3 vehicles on Craigslist between $1200 and $60,000. Just need to use common sense in dealing with people
I used Craigslist for many years, but they changed their ads to require payment (small cost, but annoying) and there were lots of scammers prowling.
There is a for sale by owner lot up in Elk River. It’s on HWY 10 just a block east of Hwy 169. Right next to Riverside Marine.
That is new to me $5 to sell a car. My guess is too many dealers were posting under by owner. Scammers are easy to avoid, tell them you will not talk about price or selling it unless they come look at the vehicle.
