Pretty quiet on the bear side of things here…

    Anyone baiting lately?

    Anyone getting any good pics??

Anyone care to share those pics???

I have recently put 3 baits out (so far), but I have only pulled one card to date (Well, actually two, but the second I left the “lock” switch on on the SD card… No pics recorded… Nothing huge on camera yet, mostly pics of sow/cubs. I should have more to show for it next week.

Just trying to liven up this topic!!

The bear are raiding the deer feeders and the cameras show that the bears visit the bait sites all summer waiting for the baiting to start.

My brother was lucky enough to draw a tag this year. TONS of bear but no big boys hitting on a regular basis. Here are a couple good ones that are regulars. Hope he connects!

    A few good recent pics.

Any guesses to how much he weighs?

Sow and cub pics thrown in for comparison…

Looks to be a solid 300, maybe as big as 400, but that sow is pretty small IMHO…

jon, I don’t know if you are near mile marker 101 off 90-94 but as of yesterday there was a beast like the one in your photo taking a dirt nap in the median. looked to be a bit ripped up but hard to tell at 70+ mph. it was a brute! pout

yep I live a mere 30 seconds of the interstate at mile marker 98. That was a dandy for sure!
