I drew a zone C bear tag this year and was not expecting to at all. I am weighing my options of either doing it myself or going with a guide. If anyone has any suggestions or experiences feel free to let me know. PM is fine also. I have kids and coach baseball in the summer so time is limited for me, but want to do this. Also, I may see if it doesn’t work out to transfer the tag to a youth is another option I am considering. Thanks.

Given your limited time, it seems the guide route would very beneficial to you. Baiting costs a lot of money, time and effort.

It helps to be close to where you are baiting.. How far is the drive?

It can be done for limited time and on the cheap (possibly). 4 years ago I started baiting one station 7 days before the season opened. 11 days after I put out that first bait I had a bear down, with 12 different bears on camera.
