Elk River

    Anybody ever fish the Elk River? I waded it about 10 years ago and caught a bunch of smallies, rock bass & some nice pike. The smallies were kind of small but the pike were nice. It was a fun little river. Didn’t explore it much after that. Just curious. Vern

    I never fished it…. talked to gapen about it once…. he said there were some real nice pike kn there.. and that was also true of where it flowed into the Mississippi….. but I spent all my time on the Miss or the Rum….. there are some nice SMB on the rum……
