I like it. It is not too spicy or hot (for me anyway) and has some crunch to it.
It’s good on about everything, and it is available at Wal-Mart or through Amazon.

March 25, 2024 at 5:05 pm #2263389that has an oriental person on there…… haven’t the Karens of the world gone after that yet….
…….like aunt Jemima?????
sorry…..actually first i’vr seen of that…. interesting!
March 26, 2024 at 10:48 am #2263501Maybe the orientals arent a bunch of cry racism babies. The italians havent cried to remove Chef Boyardee from spaghetti-os.
March 26, 2024 at 10:54 am #2263504The Karens are coming for you two first. Using the term Oriental to refer to people has been considered offensive by the Karens for quite a few years now.
March 26, 2024 at 11:27 am #2263520I see a comeback for Oriental. Nice sounding and even elegant. I vote non-offensive.

Sounds like something a colonizer would say.
RiverratPosts: 1141March 26, 2024 at 1:33 pm #2263574Are we still able to say “Oriental Rice” when referring to a hotdish made from ground beef, rice, and soy sauce? If not I’m off this woke train.
March 26, 2024 at 1:35 pm #2263577From my extensive 90 seconds of research this morning it’s OK to use the term for everything except people.
March 26, 2024 at 1:50 pm #2263587My wife me picked up a packet of this stuff when she stayed with her friend down in Whitefish Bay. I’ll be waiting until I make another batch of hot sauce outside to make some of this. I’ve seen what a mess it can make when you pour 325* oil into the mixture.

Ill have to remember that when the next rug post comes up.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 19317March 26, 2024 at 2:24 pm #2263598That stuff looks intriguing, but make sure you get yourself some Mikes Hot Honey. That stuff is good on everything, but you have to use the microwave to soften it before each use.
April 24, 2024 at 12:48 pm #2269149It is a staple in our home, you can buy it locally at most Asian grocery stores (Shuang Hur St Paul). We use it instead of potsticker sauce for dumpling and it adds some nice kick to fried rice too.
April 24, 2024 at 12:53 pm #2269152So many good hot sauces out there these days. I bet I have 10 or more at home right now. I have my go to’s. But also like trying new ones when I find them.
