    Where you staying? The resorts are very helpful. I would troll cranks in front of Morris point to start. Use your electrics. Don’t start fishing until you mark fish.

    Are you planning on trolling or jigging?

    Im headed up this weekend. Have been hearing good reports from both the lake and river. Im staying a good part of next week.

    Was up there a couple weeks ago staying on Oak Island. Mostly trolled spinner rigs with bottom bouncers in 20 feet of water. We caught numbers in Canada, but the bigger fish were on the MN side. Also got bigger bites trolling cranks, but more numbers on spinners. Eaters were up shallow, big girls were down in the mud.
