Any advice for LOTW this late in the year?

    I’m heading up to Warroad to do some duck hunting this weekend and we plan to sneak in some fishing during the day. Anyone ever fish up there this late in the year and have any advice on what to try?

    The last time we went up this time of year, we did try a little fishing, but were handcuffed without any sonar or mapping so we were fishing blind. This time I’ve got a Helix mounted up on the duck boat and have the LOTW/Rainy map chip.

    Id fish deep, anchor and vertical jig.

    I’ve read some reports the Walleyes have been biting on Whiskey flats and around the Blinker.
