    I was out on Big Sandy lake on saturday. There was 8inches of ice and wheelers everywhere. I was out well before the crowds and had plenty to show.

    cool I’ll let you know when we head up, planning on the weekend of the 20th going to hit brainard tourney. Don’t know how long the other guys can stay but i’m off for a week

    I’ll be heading up 2 weeks from today I’ll be up till the following tuesday, you’ll have to show me how to catch those critters over there on sandy. I want some of those jigs too they look awesome!!

    Hey Xrayman,
    You missed one heck of a day.Culled 30 & dude got a bunch too. So did 2 other guys that I met last year & set them up.
    The spring was the right thing for today. Hardly saw half of my hits& the other half I’d wait 6 seconds after being covered.Go to lift & you could feel the weight while the spring curled. Set the hook.Drive that hook right into the BONE.

    Swamptrout I thought I lost ya buddy!
    I stopped up a few times this summer but didnt see you.
    Thought I would see you on opener.
    Are you still up at atkin?
    I have a different camper but I am still in the same spot across from the B-room. I am here to tell you that if you want to get into some big bulls or mules I know this guy called Crappie Keith that can teach any old dog some tricks!

    Im still at the campground,just didnt get up there much this summer.Finaly bought some land over by Palisade on the mississippi.Got it late this fall,havent had much time to explore.
    looks like that crappie keith knows what he is doing,do you suppose he does free guiding for Aitkin county resident wanne-bes?Plannig 2 or 3 trips up to the lake in march,maybe we can do a little fishin?

    I think I shot some grouse on your stretch of the riv.J/K
    I live in Palytown & can show you some good places to fish.
    Mid to end of March is a great time for some mules.
    I’m out there just about every weekend,both days with the ice still floating.
    Once she’s gone so am I.
    Just give me a shout when you are a hankering for some action.
