I was out on Farm Island last Friday (in the pouring rain) targeting largemouth. It’s been 2 years since I fished this lake but it won’t be that long until the next time. I don’t know if it was the rain but we had a great time catching numbers of quality fish. The pencil reeds were the place to be with some of the bigger fish on deep weed edges. Texas rigged plastics worked for us.
I’ll be up that way next Sat. and will probably hit FI again. If you see a couple guys in a red boat with a black merc on the back and a IDA decal stop over and say hi.
