Hey does anyone have any tips for fishing Eye’s on Big Sandy on the opener? Family has Cabin up there (Minnewawa) and would like to fish Sandy or Minnewawa? Any suggestions on where to start or what to use would be greatly appreciated

Fish the edges or drop offs in Bell Horn with Lindy rigs and minnows.

Thanks for the Info, Derek . I plan on fishing there Saturday Morning and then move over to Mille Lacs for slip bobber fishing in the evening/night up on the rocks. Good Luck to you where ever you go Derek!

Thanks for the info Derek! I actually did better on Big Sandy then I did Mille Lacs Saturday. My Dad and I went out on Sandy and did well, thanks for the pointers. We used Minnows and leeches, both were productive. Caught 5 decent eyes with my Dad landng a 23.75″.

When I hit the pond and was not thinking right . Mental error costed me, the night. I had one of those user errors with my Sonar/GPS. I only ended up with 1 nice 18.5″. Great to be back out.
