    Hey all,

Looking to have a few projects taken care of around the house and am hoping for some referrals. Home is in Maple Grove, MN.

    1) I have some siding that needs replacing. Not storm damage, and I absolutely will not use a “storm restoration specialist”. I turn away at least 2 of these storm chaser per week. I think they’re vile, predatory scammers and will not consider one. Looking for a local company. Also have an issue with the base of a 3-season porch that I am hoping they can address.

    2) Planning to do some landscaping work–retaining wall replacement, patio replacement, etc.

    Thanks!
    Ryan

We used MEI (https://minnesotaexteriors.com/) for full replacement of vinyl siding, soffit/fascia, gutters, and shingles and thought they did a good job. There were a couple minor issues I pointed out that they quickly redid without any fuss. It might have just been our salesperson but they also gave us the 2nd lowest quote (out of 6 I think?) right away without any nonsense.

Hoffman Weber on the other hand I had no patience for their sales games. They wanted us to go to their office so they could show us all this garbage on their computer and then came up with a quote that was two times everybody elses that I guess we were supposed to haggle down.

PM sent for Trinity Exteriors in EP, owned by some of your fellow Johnnies.

Depending on what you want I use to work for Quarve contracting in spring lake park. They did seamless steel siding and gutters back then. They were definitely a quality minded company.

Look at Georgia Pacific smart side before you decide on vinyl. I feel it is a way better siding than vinyl. we redid our house last year and really like it.

I do some automotive work for Arko Exterior. They are a local company out of Ham Lake. Have not had any work done by them yet but would if I needed any.

we used a company up by you out of rogers MN for our retaining wall last year called Creative Lawn and Landscapes. Here is their website http://creativelnl.com/

They did a really good job both with communication and delivery. Even finished the job earlier than promised.

Guy i worked with was named Jordan. He was co-owner of the company.

I suck at taking pictures but i attached a picture of the retaining wall he did for us. Price was the best of 3 quotes we got too

Not going vinyl. Don’t need to fully re-side, and I don’t really care for vinyl.

Can’t recommend any siding companies but Tomford landscaping is a great company, https://tomfordservices.com

Big enough to take care of any job but still a small enough company that the owner is the one onsite for every project.
