    Well the ice has finally left the confines of Chequamegon Bay… The Apostle Islands area has been ice free for sometime, but now with some rain and warmer temps, we can begin to navigate the boats in the bay itself once again…

    Right now, trolling for trout and salmon species is high on peoples list.. Along with the pre-spawn and spawn walleye action… Oh, smelts should be in full force shortly as well… Soon with be the opener for the C&R smallie season…

    Hope to see some of you on the water this open water season!!!

    Nice to see you back on IDA!!! Always checking you out on LL. How was the wind in the bay today??? I was trying to get up to Saxon today, but decided against it with the forecast. Again if you need help with Maggie, let me know!!!
