SmallMouth Chequamegon Bay ?

    Heading up to Chequamegon Bay tommorow and looking for some tips on smallmouths this time of year? How’s the fishing preasure on the bay… or would it be worthwhile to head further east somewhere in the area of Keweenow bay in Mi. Can anybody give me any advice?

    Top water…shorelines early morning and evening…deep water weed beds and rock piles during the afternoon with cranks or plastics.
    Hard to find a bass under 18″ there…we caught 72 like these two weeks ago in 3 days

    Thanks Tom, I hope I can do half as good as you guys did…I wonder if the bass are all done on there beds?
