3-way rig trolling tip

    Heard that if you are trolling a plug you can attach a 3-way swivel w/o a weight just to block weeds leaves etc. Anyone do this? Specifics? thanks

    It seems plausible that it would work without a lot of construction. Run a flouro leader from the 3-way to the bait or snap-swivel and give her!!! I’ve used rubber core sinkers when running my musky plugs and believe peeps use a split shot would do similar if used.

    Just a regular swivel is fine just leave the tag ends of your line 1/4 inch or so and it grabs a lot of debris that won’t make it back to your lure.
