Dang pailofperch! Hopefully some deer like those got pushed onto the farm from the public over the weekend. I always look forward to the new arrivals. I’ll be sitting in the morning and then checking cameras before the rain.

If I bow hunted I don’t think I could have passed on this guy.

Not quite sure if the velvet is the same as the hard horn… finally got cams in 2 seasons ago. Really been impressed with the quality although I’m kind of surprised that the mass isn’t in that hard horn pic, or at least as much as I was hoping for…

Had pics of this one with his twin all July long, then August he disappeared for 3 weeks, and now he’s been back pretty regularly. Now, just to be in the stand at the right time.

Hop, I would say you have at least 3 different bucks there. Picture 2 and 4 may be the same buck, but it’s tough to tell. Either way I’d say it’s a good sign!

How old do you think this buck is?
I’m guessing 5+ based on his face, neck, and body.

Wish I was better at aging deer Jason, but I can give you pic to compare to. I’m about 99% sure this one is a 4 year old. My mock scrape has been busy!

Definitely a bit more day light movement on the camera I pulled this morning. Looks like I was in the wrong stand Thursday afternoon! This would have been a easy 15 yard shot.

this guy passed in front of me twice on Sunday morning of opening weekend. could see his silhouette, but it was still too dark for an ethical (or legal) shot.
i’d give a lot for him to have been just 10 minutes later… (pic and video)

Nothing big, and only at night, but at least I got some to prove they do exist
