Anyone besides me excited about the release of the 2021 Bronco?
I had a 71 back in the day so there’s a little sentimental thing I got going here.
Shoot!
I wish that link would have worked. It was a 3d version.

Yes! I’ll be getting a new Bronco as soon as there are enough out there to make sure there aren’t big issues. Love this truck.

It’s a glorified Escape. Hardly anything resembling the Bronco of the past. Definitely not a truck. Color me disappointed.

X2. Definitely not a truck. More like a worthless jeep

Are you talking about the Bronco Sport (which IS based on the Escape platform) or the body on frame Bronco?

After looking into it im rescinding my comment. I was unaware there are two new Broncos. The Bronco Sport is what I was disappointed about.
The Bronco is much more like what a reincarnated Bronco should be. My faith has been slightly restored in our automotive industry.
More like a worthless jeep
It does resemble a Jeep to me. Except it’s a Ford so it’s not worthless

Got that right!
Now that’s an SUV, not a dressed up car. I wonder if Chevy will counter with a K5 Blazer edition. I suppose it depends on the sales #s of the new Bronco.
Will need a new vehicle in 2022, glad to let the 2021 model buyers work out the kinks in the new Bronco and will look at the 2022 model.

I was hoping that too, but unfortunately they slapped the Blazer name on a crossover type thing that’s selling well today. Why they didn’t save that nameplate for something resembling the original Blazer is beyond me.
Also, I kind of think the new Hummer is GM’s new truck they are banking on. They will put out SUV versions of that.
get a room… typical ford guys.
Good one G!
If someone had a Ramcharger coming out I’d take a look. Any scuttlebutt?
2 door all the way.
4 door looks like your typical suv.
Had a ’84 back in the day with a plow. I liked that bronco then and the new bronco looks very cool. I know they are pretty hard to obtain if you want one.

Dodge / Mopar guys have to be the weirdest of all the car group guys (it’s a hemmy dude!). No dog in the fight as I have owned many brands and learned a long time ago brand loyalty is not something I buy into
2 door all the way.
Having lived thru the late-90’s/early 2000’s, when so many vehicles like this lost their 2-door variant, it will be interesting to see if the 2-door continues 5 years from now, if they only account for 10-15% of sales.

From what I have seen, I like them. At least unique compared to all the crossover SUVs.
I’m just happy that there are SUV options that are returning to their truck0based roots. New Ford Explorer as RWD with decent towing capacity, new Bronco. Other SUVs have been reduced to nothing more than sedans with a different shell on top.
I have a day 1 reservation so I should get mine pretty early. Trying to decide between colors and hard top/soft top. The Sports hitting the lot is helping to visualize the colors but they are a very different platform.
No, lots of good info at Bronco6G forums…. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/
They do look pretty cool. I’ve gone back and forth between GM and Ford throughout my life. I like them both, If I was in the trades or a Job that required me to actually need the utility value of a truck or large SUV more than occasionally pulling smaller boat or a load of yard waste to the dump, I’d probably have a stronger opinion. The new Blazer is a travesty. GM designs have been disappointing as of late. The new Bronco is a nice homage to the old one. Unfortunately, I like being able to throw the occasional carcass or two in the back come November, so I’ll be sticking with the Pick-up.

Get yourself a cargo rack for the receiver hitch and carcass away!
