2015 Ranger 1880VS Transducer Install Question

    I have a 2015 Ranger Angler 1880VS and I purchased a total scan transducer last winter for my boat. I am wondering how you guys are installing this on the transom. My old Javelin was a glass boat and I replaced electronics a few times so there were old transducer holes from that. I hate the idea of drilling holes in the hull so is anyone using those glue on Stern Savers or some other mounting block that you epoxy on? If so what are you using, where are you mounting them and how do you like them? Or should I just buy the screw on block?

    Thanks in advance for the input. I don’t have any pictures the boat is in storage still.

    Install a mounting board that way if you change later you don’t need to drill new holes in the glass. I have three on my present boat
