2 screens -vs- 1 big screen

    Looking for options on the following options. Which would you choose and why?

    Option 1: run a 9″ & 7″ hds live side by side (networked) would use the 7 mostly for mapping. Eventually could also use the 7″ screen for ice fishing with the livesight transducer once its available.

    Option 2: run one 12″ hds live.

    These two options are roughly both around the same price range.

    I’d run two for the simple reason that if your single screen fails, you’re done. No backup.

    Plus, smaller units are easier to sell when you want to upgrade.

    I prefer 2 smaller for the previously mentioned reasons. Another benefit is not having to swap between pages when you want to zoom, drop a waypoint, etc.
