U hit the nail on the head, I can cruise at 45mph. I had the boat on the water and am very happy with the performance. The 90 opti has only 76 hrs on it.
    Thanks for your advise.

I know I’m the second owner. I’m pretty happy because I didn’t have to spend big cash on a nice boat. The hull is in mint condition.

Sorry about leaving out the 2008
    90 hp. Optimax.
I’m picking up the rig this Saturday. It’s good to hear your uncles boat handled some big water on lake of the woods. The only remorse I’m having is that I wish it was a 1750 or 1850 and not a 1650. From what I’m told pretty mint condition with basic electronics and older trolling
Motor. I’m paying $6200 and that’s with the 08 optimax.
What do u think of the price?
    Thanks

I have decided to purchase the vintage 93 tyee 2 with the 2008, 90 hp optimax. I still have to inspect the rig, but have come to terms if it’s as nice as the seller says it is. The boat measures around 16 1/2 ft with a 79 inch beam.
    Thanks for your input.

Thanks so much for your information. I already have two boats, but they are both River rigs and I can’t afford big $$$$ on a lake boat thats why I’m looking at older rigs.
    Thanks

Wow!! I guess a 90hp is not enough on a lund tyee 2. I’ve never been in one, but I thought a 90hp would be ok.
    Any other opinions are welcome.

I’m thinking about buying one of those fury xl’s. How does the 60 push it?
