I was born and raised in what we call the prairie pot hole region of the States in Aberdeen, South Dakota. At an early age in my life my Dad introduced me to the great outdoors with hunting and fishing. When I was 12 years old I shot my very first Drake Mallard and Canadian Goose. I have been pursuing my passion for the past 20 + years in the sport we call Waterfowl Hunting. I’ve been guiding for Dakota River Ranch for the past 10 years and I’m a committee member of the local Delta Waterfowl Chapter in Aberdeen (Jim River Marsh Masters). My full time job for the past 16 years is a Parts Consultant at our local Gm dealer Steven Lust Automotive. My number one goal in guiding is to share my passion to other hunters in preserving the future of duck hunting by passing my knowledge on to them and by getting the youth involved as much as possible.
