I remember when I was a kid bird hunting with my dad and his hunting buddys. We did a lot of door knocking. That was back in the 70s when there was a lot of bird hunting places. Someone would go to the door and spend some time talking to the farmer, often getting permission to hunt on several farms , but they would come back to the truck , inform us that we could hunt there but the farmer
“didn’t what any kids with guns on his property ”
implying I would have to sit in the truck. )
Lots of good memory’s from those days.

I’d suggest reading and understanding the 2B warranty program well before buying. I had a very negative experience with them on warranty and have gotten rid of all the ice and open water rods of theirs I had. Best of luck.

I would second that. I didn’t have very good luck with them, so I won’t return.
Over time I have become a “Custom Rod” buyer and have Always had a Great experience with Thorn Brothers (Lonnie). They cost more but I always get exactly what I want.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. I have a live trap and a couple rat traps set but have only caught one so far in the live trap. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the suggestions. By quite I mean not like a riffle or 22. I understand there’s going to be some noise. My chipmunks must be different, they go right past the traps with PB.
I should have stated my budget. $200 max

Have had an onyx for a few years now. Nothing but good things to say about it.

I would suggest you try them on first. I tried the Mustang on and wore it around the store for a while and it was uncomfortable. Hit my neck in a bad place. Tried the Onyx on and it was very comfortable. I can wear it all day and now problems.
    Try them on first .

Well, I went a different direction and bought a 2B Ceres spinning rod. New series so I will see how I like it.

I live in a small town in southeast Iowa. We used to have large recycling bins around town, marked for all the recycled stuff (glass, paper, cardboard ect.)
They removed them and now they just take everything to the landfill. There is a recycling depot here but they charge you for taking your stuff into them. I don’t get it ?? So a town of 12,000 people we have virtually no recycling. Used to be 10yrs ago recycling was offered all over town and you felt bad if you didn’t do it. Now there is nothing.

We have a treager smoker under our carport and use it all winter. I did buy a Thermo Blanket for it this winter and has made a big difference in the way it cooks. It performs a lot better.

I think I have come up with a system. We’ll see how it works on the water.
