Maybe that’s true but they felt the need to drop the limit from 6 to 4 for a good reason i’m sure, hate to see it go in the direction of Milacs.

Atv only for this guy. I’ve seen ice conditions vary day by day and never venture across the channel by the point.
Just busting ice from what i could see. Sheriff was also out there on an airboat.
Oh and by the way Monday there was a truck parked next to me. Some people like livin on the edge. Some pay for it.
Was there today and watched. I was a couple hundred yards from the channel and on 10 inches clear 3 cloudy but Monday i fished the edge of the channel and 5 clear 3 cloudy. This was in the middle of the channel just up from the point.
Fished the edge of the channel Monday on my atv. 5 inches clear 3 cloudy. A truck parked near by. I stayed 200 yards further away and am on 10 plus 3. Saw the crane he was right in the middle of the channel. Some people have no fear.
I agree with you Steve litterers have no place on the ice. I have ice fished out of Maiden Rock for 20 plus years and can remember in years of good ice and a hot bite there were “villages out from Maiden Rock. People follow good ice and a good bite. Lots of lakes with slush problems this year. I personally have more of a problem with the whole midwest coming here in April to fish the spawn.
Did good on red/chrome jiggin rap and gold jiggin spoon and yes any one know how much new snow is on the lake?
Went out from Maiden Rock across to near the channel. 10 inches of ice 8 inches of clear. Side by sides and atvs and even 2 nuts in cars. Fishing was pretty good but a lot of shorts.
