The MLF is going to get way more coverage than ever before. It will be televised on more and bigger stations. More money for MLF, more money for their anglers, more anglers converting to MLF.

Here is a pic. I was referring to a white plastic.

    Hi Steve,

In town by Nestle is the only place to put in if you are wanting to fish above the dam. There is another ramp in town located by the old green bridge if you are wanting to fish below the dam. However, that is a very tricky stretch because there is so many submersed logs and rock piles. Janesville to Waverly can be a great stretch, but I have always fished above the dam in Waverly because it is so much more accessible by boat, and the fish are a lot easier to pattern and find.

I have been wanting to get down to Island Park or Washington access, but anything south of Janesville is unfishable because of the Shell Rock flowing into it.

    Hi Steve,

I guess I am fortunate to have a pool on the Cedar that recedes quickly.

I am hoping to get out once again tonight, the water has barely come up since my last outing on Sunday, despite all the rainfall. I am sure that the water clarity will not be as good, a few days ago I had nearly 10-12″ of visibility. White was the color.

I can vouch for the Loomis NRX and it’s sensitivity. I have a 6 8” NRX JWS 803 S MH. While the Loomis rods are a bit stiffer than what most are probably used to, it is incredible how much sensitivity is translated through the blank. They are expensive, but I would recommend this rod to anyone. I was able to get my hands on a few Conquest Loomis/Shimano rods at ICAST. Although I haven’t fished one yet, I can only imagine the quality/sensitivity of one based on my NRX.
