I HAD A CVA KODIAK PRO,MY BROTHER-IN-LAW HAD THE WOLF,BOTH WERE CRAP.I BOUGHT A T/C OMEGA AND SWEAR BY IT . BROTHER-IN -LAW IS BUYING HIS T/C OMEGA NEXT WEEK.HAVEN’T SEEN A MUZZLELOADER YET THAT WILL RUN WITH A T/C. JUST MY .02
thompson center is the only way to go,I have an omega with a nikon omega scope.250 grain t/c sabot w/3 triple 7 pellets it shoots a 4 inch group all day long at 250 yards.T/C says its good to 300 yards but I haven’t tried that far yet.Had a cva kodiak pro it was junk, you get what you pay for.Just my .02

I use t/c’s shockwave superglide 250 grain sabots, 3 50 grain triple 7 pellets, and a Nikon Omega scope, and it shoots 4 inch groups @ 250 yards, they say its good to 300 yards but I haven’t tried that yet.I’ll never buy another brand of muzzleloader, but an upgrade to a pro hunter might happen someday.

like any gun you get what you pay for.I’ve owned a cva kodiak pro it was a piece of junk, bought a thompson center omega, nothing else compares.I’ll never go the cheaper route on a gun again, just my 2 cents.

I know this thread is old but it’s a good one.
Recently did a complete water pump kit in my
87′ Mariner 50HP for the first time after
owning this boat for 5 years.
Found this thread after the job was done, but
didn’t encounter any problems other than needing
my brother to help me re-install the LU.
Old impeller showed considerable wear and distortion,
as well as one paddle (under my index finger) almost broken off.
I know this thread will help other first timers learn
and save some cash so I’m giving it a bump.
