My son just bought a “new to him” boat with an older Lowrance LCX 27C unit. We are looking for the gps puck for it.

Anyone have one laying around that they would be will to sell?

    Feel free to PM me.

    Thanks

You’ll have to set up a nmea 2000 network also.

    Forgot about that!
    Thanks for the reminder Dandorn.

Based on that, wondering if he’d be better off looking for a newer used unit with internal GPS?
    Hmm

Someone on here probably has enough to get it set up unless he can swing a HDS unit. He’ll be able to use same transducer and power cord as the LCX with a HDS.

I have a operations manual for that unit if he needs one.

If he’s only going to run 1 unit I don’t believe a network is necessary. Power, sonar, and gps antenna wires directly into back of unit has been working in my boat since same model was new.

I’ve heard of people doing that with mixed results. I received all the network components in the box with my LCX-27c so I set it up that way.
