How far up the river

    Just wondering how far up the river at anson can a person travel in like a 16 0r 17 ft boat? can they get up past the island? Is it deeper on the east or west side? I have seen pontoons up past the island when there has been high er water. I guess I am asking in normal water depths not low not high.

    West side is the side to travel through, 18′ bass boats up there on Tuesday night, you should have no problem, tilt motor and go slow
