Wing dams this time of year .

    Is this a good time of year to key in on wing dams ? light jigs ?

    Not sure what specific species you are hunting for, but I usually find a fantastic gill bite around this time of year. Also sheepies, eyes and SM.

    Up here on Pool 2 I’ll toss a jig and 1/2 crawler for a multi species bite. Then come through casting cranks for the more aggressive fish.

    Leaches can be another good choice on dams this time of year. One approach I used to use was heavier jigs on the tips of the dams lifting and thunking those jigs right down the face to the bottom and even out in front a little.
