Homemade sourdough English muffins. Fricks applewood smoked ham. Easy poached eggs. Quick hollandaise sauce with immersion blender.

My 7 year old daughter loves this breakfast. It’s quite a bit of work for breakfast but the recipes above make it as simple as it can get. Obviously the English muffins were made well ahead of time. Last week actually and they go in the freezer until needed.

We had a weekend of two separate Hockey Tournaments for both of my boy after Thanksgiving. So the traditional binging on leftovers was put on-hold since we were gone most of the time. Yesterday morning I couldn’t take it anymore, so before we left for the title games I loaded up a plate with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole and gravy and stuck it in the microwave! Best breakfast ever!

Looks like perfection Sharon! You’ve got the all American breakfast down.

My secret to better hashbrowns is more butter.

secret to better hashbrowns is more butter.

Watched a YouTube vid on hashbrowns and did just that. Slid the butter down the sides after the potats were in the pan, omg so good.

I don’t have much for pans or spatulas and the crucial good hash crisp on the outside I have to achieve with the whole pan flip. Getting pretty good at it. Kids like watching it bc wasn’t long ago it wouldn’t end up so nice.

I’m the designated hashbrown flipper at my house. My wife refuses to try it.

I use 50/50 butter and bacon grease. The bacon grease adds that cafe essence to it.

We normally just buy the packaged hashbrowns but fresh grated is always better.

Those smoked salmon bagels look awesome.

looks great Sharon. if you haven’t try Lynden farms hashbrowns, do so. those blow any other hashbrowns out of the universe. they are basically shoestring fries cut into small pieces. i only find them at Hyvee.
