This winter stuff is getting old.

I hear ya there. I need to get out as well. One of these days, when I can actually get out and fish, I might need another stick in the boat to scout some of those pre-spawn mama’s if you can make it

SWAN!!!!! alright jake and andy your next! just got back from nodak. had an ok time. first two days were kind of a wash, but the next 4 we got out 24 ducks each morning. settled for shooting a mixed bag of divers and puddlers after spending almost 20 hours in the truck the first 3 days looking for mallards. never had this hard of time finding the big green heads!

it was a long poke at the swan.

a flock of 6 flew about 50 60 yards above me. the patternmaster and the #2 steel did its job!

Nice shot. That is a monster bird. Is it going on the wall?

    Awesome swan Kris! Congrats!

You don’t know how many times I pulled up on one of these growing up, initially thinking snow goose! No I never fired at one as they weren’t legal back then!

Congrats! i was out last friday scouting for some ducks and i found a couple of swans that would have been a pretty easy sneak. So i pulled off to the side of the road and was getting ready and decieded to make sure that i had my tag. I open up my wallet and it wasnt there! i totally spaced putting it in my wallet the night before and had to watch the swans fly away … but thats awesome that you got one and i am hoping to get out and find some this weekend

Congratulations Kris! Not many hunters can say that they shot a swan! Thanks for sharing your hunt with us!
