    Hit up the dam yesterday, fish did not start to get active until 4 and even then they were real slow. I popped two eyes with a fathead on a green jig under a bobber, both were right around 13 inches. On the flasher I was jigging and they would come take a peek and after giving them a chance to hit it I would raise it up to see if they would chase and only two saugers would cooperate. The rest slowly faded away. Ended up taking one 15 inch sauger home. Green was the magic color!!

    How thick was ice, just curious. Was below Winona dam last week and wondering if ice is about the same. You had better luck than I did.

    I can only give you ice info on the WI side-thick, really thick It is approximately 15″+ I have not been over to the MN side yet.
