I’m determined to make some weights with leftover large lead shot I have from years past waterfowl hunting. Anybody know some materials that make a nice sack for this purpose? I’ve heard of parachute cord or mountain climbing rope but it seems there must be something else. Appreciate your help.

I have messed around making some slinky sinkers, but I as well used parachute cord. Its hollow in the middle. Tie a knot on bottom, find a small funnel and pour in the top. Lighter to heat the top and melt together is what I did and then push a hot nail thru to form a hole for the line. Pain in the touche to make but works well with that left over shot.
