Pool 9

    I am thinking about heading out on pool 9 this weekend. Just wondering if anything has been going on lately or if anyone has some ideas on where I should start. Any info would be appreciated. I haven’t been on this pool since spring.

    I was out yesterday till noon. Fished wingdams, rock shore protection, and points and caught largemouth bass, channel catfish, the reliable sheephead, and smallmouth bass. The walleye eluded me, but a poor day of fishing beats a good day at work anyday. Water temps around 82 degrees. Have fun. Jimbo

    I was out on 9 near New Albin last Saturday and caught many walleyes drifting with crawlers in side channels and main channel border but not much size to them, had 4 keepers between two of us for the entire day. I was back on Tuesday but only fished bass and northerns – did pretty good on them.
