Thought we all might need a little humor today….

The all day ridicule of his boat control had finally got the best of him.

What a Jack A, he thinks to himself as the joker exclaims his certainty of the fish species on the end of his line.

Ya right it’s a white-tip! It’s been jack off after “jack on” all day!!!

“How’z it feel?” he none-the-less plays along with a hint of skepticism slipping out, yet still feeling a bit excited about the mystery below.

It was hooked at the base of a nice slope the Lowrance told him….. Hmmmm, maybe it is a walldad….

Then, after his thoughts wonder for just a few seconds (or could it have been more than that considering the Leinies in his belly) he is abruptly brought back with an urgent “get the net!!!”

“Holy Shnikezz look at the size of that tail!!!”

The fish boils and again heads for the bottom before the risky first pass net swoop can be attempted. She is held at bay before she can reach the sand and rubble bar they have now drifted on…

    “She’s mine,” exclaims Jack A #1…

Then as though the adrenalin envelopes the two JAs together, things switch gears and the all day struggle, not to mention heated debate over structure and methods, seems to disapate in one glorious moment…..

“Here she comes……” exclaims JA #1!

“F’in A!!!” says the other JA!!!!

In a moment frozen in time the mamoth walleye floats to the surface, the net is slid under…. and just as it is lifted the fish explodes…..

… for a split second the water splashes so violently neither is sure of the fate secured for this walldad that obviously is well over 10 pounds!!!

As the net is raised, the aluminum handle strains to hold the bahemoth! As the fish lowers into the boat, cheers of joy and triumph rage across the lake!!!

A Fish for the ages… a monster indeed!!!!!

    The End
