Last night I had an owl try to keep me awake. Where’s Steve Hix when a guy needs him….

This late afternoon the guys were struggling to keep vertical on Pool 4 because of the wind.

Tonight the wind picked up even more and woke me up. If it was snowing we would have a heck of a blizzard!

    Do you need a hug?

The bite was consistent over the weekend. Steady but by P4 standards slow.

Put in your time and you would be rewarded with a walleye/sauger dinner.

What presentation worked best? None. People were catching fish on one eye’s, pulsars, ringworms, paddle tails, three ways, dragging and pitching.

Best method? Whatever you feel most comfortable with.

I stayed out of the wind from the comfort of the bait shop and went home with these two dandies.

    Thanks for dinner River Dan.

I had no idea Donald Sutherland was a big walleye fisherman. Did you get his autograph BK?

Since I’ll be working both Sat/Sun this weekend…I’ll leave the light on for you Dan.

….and please, leave the wind at home.
