Lake City River Conditions

    Can anyone give the river condition at Lake City. Mainly concerned with the water level going up so fast is the river full of debris to where it affects the fishing and boating?

    Fished Lake Pepin today. The water was the highest I have seen it this year. I launched at the Park in lake city, and you had to wade through about 8 inches of water to get to the loading docks. Fishing was much slower than normal, trolling crankbaits. Caught 4 Sauger and 2 13in walleye.
    (released them all). Did see some fair smallmouth action in rip-rap areas. Did any one else fish Pepin today?

    Put in at the same landing as you. High water & was still coming up. Fished some back water & got 5 waldos from 16.5 to 20 in.
