Vermilion campsites

    Anyone familiar with the campsites located on the lake? Are they free to use or reservable,first come first serve etc.Do they have tent pads,tables,lockers like Voyageurs? Thanks

    They are first come first serve. And they are pretty much primitive type camp site’s. Hinsdale island has some on the east side. Also the islands east of Hinsdale have a few nice one’s

    Stayed on Hinsdale last fall and they have obvious spots for tents, as well as tables and lockers. Some great fishing spots about a pitching wedge away too!
