    taste gross.

    Kept a couple nice ones for the pan few weeks back and got around to eating some last night. Blah, quite fishy. Very particular in my cleaning process, and they were obviously iced once caught.

    Don’t get me wrong like a good fish taste to my, errr, fish, but these hit the pallete wrong.

    What part were you on? I have had fish taste different from one end to another. They were Crappie for me.

    Never had a problem on Tonka.

    I’ve never noticed anything odd either. And walleye is not even close to the top of my list for favorite fish, so there’s no bias.

    I’ve eaten them from the east and west side. Never noticed a difference.
